The Day of Arafah
Assalam alaikum,
The day of ‘Arafah will be on Friday July 8, 2022, therefore Eid al-Adha 1423AH will be on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Stay tuned for Eid Salah details.
We remind the community to start planning for the blessed first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, about which the Prophetic teaching states that “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” [Bukhari].
This includes fasting the day of ‘Arafah about which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Fasting the day of `Arafah expiates the sins of two years: the past one and the coming one.” [Muslim].
